The Barking Heads Golden Years Dry Food has a vet-approved hypoallergenic formulation for senior dogs that are older than 7 years. This grain-free recipe is gentle on your mature dog’s digestive system and is easy to digest. Plus, this recipe contains L- carnitine that improves fat metabolism. It’s very important because your dog may not be as active as it was when it was younger. So, it needs a little help with the breakdown of fat to prevent it from becoming overweight. Bone and joint problems also increase with age. That’s why this food is enriched with joint supplements such as chondroitin, MSM and glucosamine to help maintain good bone and joint health. Made from a healthy combination of fresh and dried chicken, brown rice, potato, trout and chicken gravy, it’s delicious and healthy. The nutrition content is further enriched by vegetables and aromatic herbs.
Feed about 125 grams of this dry food per day to a low active dog weighing around 10 kilograms. If your 10 kilogram dog is medium active, then you can give up to 155 grams of this dry meal per day.

Delivery to the mainland UK is charged at €10 for orders under 25kg. Please note, we do not deliver outside the mainland UK.
