On April 7th 2022 Mayo born company Petworld will be opened its 10th store! Established in 1998 in Castlebar, Petworld has become Ireland’s leading pet speciality retailer. “We pride ourselves on providing a pet community, that offers support, advice, services and quality products that makes owning a pet easy and hassle-free,” said Group Area Manager, Mike.

Mike Corcoran Petworld Group Area Manager
Mike has been with the company for over a year and has worked in retail operations for 20 years.
The best thing about the Cork Community?
Cork will always be home to me as I am originally from Ballyphehane on the south side of the city. Cork people have an amazing attitude to life, so positive always and very little time for drama, get the job done well, and move on as demonstrated so well by the new cork team in the store set up time.
About the Cork Team?
I have never met a team like this before. They are superb in every way, the time between my visits to the store has moved on so much and I really look forward to working closely with them in the future.
Mike has a dog called Bailey. Bailey is a pug and half devil but he's part of our family now and we wouldn't change that.

Irene - Assistant Store Manager
She is passionate about customer service and merchandising and apparently, never stops cleaning! Irene has awards in customer service.
The best part of working in Petworld Cork?
Irene says I love the opportunity to work with animals and help in any way I can. I have a dog named Toby he is a miniature Yorkie but thinks he's a dinosaur.
Sharon - Store Supervisor
She is our coffee drinking Rabbit loving Supervisor! She is passionate about customer service and has also achieved awards in her field. I enjoy working with the team, looking after animals, and learning new things every day. I currently looking after rescue cats.
Elise - Store Assistant
She Is a graduate of Feline Medicine and has a BSc degree in Veterinarian Medicine. Elise is originally from Brazil. She has 2 boxer dogs at home in Brazil. Here she has a cat called Kiri.

Paige - Store Assistant
